How do I resolve this "Error 429 ActiveX component can't create object TroiksSystem_ODBCConnectStr" error? Print

Some users may receive the below error when trying to use Manual Time Entry to post their time within the Troika Time & Billing module:

The users affected will be the those utilising an existing MSAccess 2016, MSAccess 365 or MSAccess 2019 installation, for Troika.

Workaround

At the current time, the only resolution on this issue is to install MSAccess Runtime, in addition to the existing MSAccess 2016/365/2019 installation. MSAccess Runtime is not required to be used by Troika (no change is required to the users troikasql.ini configuration file), just installed and available on the setup.
