This article is applicable to the Troika product only.

The following issues were addressed in the release of Troika, version 2.09.020.

New Features

[Support #28083]

New inbuilt accounting formats are now available for Discretionary Trust accounts.

[Support #28083]

It is now possible to include custom logos for the new inbuilt MSAccess 64-bit compatible accounts formats.  These can be added through Troika Utilities > System tab > Document Files.

[Support #29394]

An audit trail has been introduced on the information recorded within Troika Utilities > System tab > System Settings.  In the event you need further clarification over when a setting was amended, and by which Troika user, please contact the support team for assistance in accessing this information.

[Support #29441]

There are three new fields in Utilities > System tab > System Settings > Sundry Entries, to allow Troika Wealth Management to monitor network connectivity, if required.

  • NetworkCheckInterval - enter the time, in seconds.  If this is blank or 0 the monitor won't run.
  • NetworkCheckServerName - enter the server to be pinged.  If this is blank the monitor won't run.
  • NetworkCheckFilePath - enter the file path to write the ping information to.  If blank or non-existent it will just write the output file (outnnn.txt, where nnn is the user id) to the program directory.  The users must have permission to write to the path specified.

All three settings will be blank, by default.  For more information on this, please contact support.

Fixes and Changes

[Support #29046]

An issue has been corrected where the accounting export failed with error 'frm ExportTB_cmdTBExport_Click Syntax error in string in query expression "",3075' when two or more advisors were recorded against the client.

[Support #29063]

An issue has been corrected within the Wealth Management Client Transactions report.  Previous this was using only £/GBP currency symbol for all clients, regardless of the client's reporting currency.  It is now showing the reporting currency correctly, providing the Currency Symbol is correctly populated for that currency within Wealth Management > Global tab > Countries and ISO Currency Codes.

[Support 29278]

An issue opening the 'Open File' dialog in Transaction Import, for those users using Troika utilising 64-bit MSAccess, has been corrected.

[Support #29361]

Entering the 'Deregistration Date' for billing entities who user VAT returns, now automatically adjusts the VAT periods correctly.

[Support #29434]

An issue running the Global Bank Statement Run within Troika Wealth Management, where the nominal length nears 50 characters, has been corrected.
